Our Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee’s (JATC) primary mission is to train highly qualified, skilled and marketable Plumbers, Steamfitters, and HVAC/R technicians for our industry. We are dedicated to developing professionals who bring expertise, character and a sense of teamwork to the clients we service, the contractors who employ us and the union we represent.

The Building Codes Division has filed a temporary rule extending the renewal deadline for the Journeyman Plumber (JP) and the Solar Heating and Cooling Installer (STL), Class 1-6 Boiler and LEB license holders from until January 15, 2021. View the adopted temporary rule

Training Center Closure - All Local 290 Training Centers have been closed and unless otherwise noted, all Journeyman Training classes will be held remotely via ZOOM.
